After a few months of well-deserved rest, the protagonists of the most beautiful Marca Trophy in the world are ready to go back on track to battle. Unfortunately the epilogue of the season just archived left bitter in the mouth to the finalists of the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Final that, originally planned in Bahrein, then postponed and moved to Portimao, was definitively cancelled because of the pandemic that made vain every effort of the Canadian Austro-Manufacturer promoter. Over 360 drivers from all over the world were ready to confront each other to conquer the Rotax World Cup but, a week after the start, the Portuguese lockdown arrived, which blocked everything. Team Italia, composed of seven drivers, had to take note of the situation and, bitterly, stay at home.
Now the movement is ready to restart, in Zone Sicily two races were held, while the North Zone will see the first Round on track in the second half of March. Next weekend also the South Center Zone opens the dances with the traditional season start date: the 16° Trofeo Alboreto that, as it happens for several years, inaugurates the agonistic season on Circuit of the Sele of Battipaglia.
At the start is the presence of drivers in all categories that characterize the Trophy of Marca Rotax: Micro, Mini, Junior, Max, DD2 and DD2 Masters. A handful of agguerriti drivers always ready to put in the field all the grinta maintaining a high respect for the opponent.
To all participants we wish to see always realized their dreams, sure, as they say, "only one climbs on the highest step of the podium", but no one will feel defeated if he has given the maximum.
The agonistic structure of the Trophy is governed by the sport regulation that, while presenting news regarding previous editions, has not overwhelmed its format. The races in the calendar of the south zone are 7; also the north zone has plans to carry out 7 tests. At the end of the seven rounds you will return to the International Circuit of Siena to dispute the National Final (October 3, 2021) which will award national titles and the very tight tickets to fly to RMCGF, whose date and location are not yet known. Tickets, as for 2020, are seven subdivisions for the various categories: (1 Mini//2 Junior//1 Max//2 DD2//1 DD2 Masters).
During the award ceremony of Battipaglia is expected to deliver the prizes related to RMCI 2020 – South Center Zone for drivers of categories who for various reasons did not attend the ceremony on the occasion of the National Final of Siena in 2020.
