Even the penultimate act of the Zone 2 Challenge goes to archive. On Kartodrome Iscaro in fact, the sixth round of our TdM combined with a Regional Karting Championship race of the Campania region. As widely predicted it was a really torrid weekend with maximum temperatures that stood around 38°C, conditions that have engaged, and not little, the participants, the technicians and the fans present on the Irpino system.
For the record, in Mini Rotax the return to the full success of the small Giovanni Calandro that in a weekend of race to the limit of perfection has conquered the Pole and both tests. The pilot confirmed that he was particularly comfortable on this plant. For recalculating positions Antonio Salma wins a nice second position in Race 1, preceding Nicola Murano on the finish line while, in race 2 you reverse the positions to confirm the great balance that reigns in the category. Gabriele Giannatiempo, although not present at Summer 2022, wins first place in the Zone Challenge with an advance race.
In Max., we register, with pleasure, the return to competitions Kevin German (GC Racing 85) that wins both races
In DD2 (LG Motorsport) wins pole, race 1 and race 2 after a tight battle with Francesco Palladino (Laudato Racing). In qualification the fight is close and Sessa conquers pole for 7m, evident sign of a great balance between the contenders in comparison. In both races Palladino fails to overcome and you have to settle for two second squares ahead of Daniele Sessa (Scococo Corse) who wins two third places. The DD2 had already a virtual Zone winner in Francesco Palladino to whom the bonus point was enough to confirm the position.
In category DD2 Masters music doesn't change much, the favorite on the eve was Giuseppe Posillo that presented itself to the appointment with a small advantage that with the two wins puts him away and crowns him winner of the area with a race in advance. Marco Valestra had done a good performance time in the morning FP of the race but already in qualifying comes the paw of Posillo. Third coming Gianluca Iervolino. The three Laudato Racing colour holders were confronted with wrinkles and fairness, offering a show worthy of the trophy's blason.
