The weather was definitely the protagonist on the past weekend, the temperatures (40° in the shade), the absence of wind and high humidity, have made it really challenging beyondmeasure a competition that already announced itself to high technical and emotional content. But we put the information in order: the stage is the Naples International Circuit in Sarno, the event is the traditional Trofeo Karting "Pagliuca" to the 23rd edition, the protagonists (besides the scorching sun) the drivers of the Mini Rotax, the DD2 and DD2 Masters. For the record, we start with the youngest: the Rd#5 of the Challenge Italia Rotax records, in the meantime, two new entries Matteo Puglisi (Parolin/Rotax) followed in collaboration with T-Motorsport and GCRacing 85 and Raffaele Pontillo (Tonykart/Rotax). Both at the first experience with Rotax engines and the first experience on the Sarno circuit. The Saturday day was dedicated to taking confidence with the materials and the track. In DD2 the day of Saturday, dedicated to the FP, tells us about a renewed duel between Fancei Palladino (Birelart/Rotax), assisted by Laudato Racing, and Ennio (Birelart/Rotax), followed by Team LG Motorsport. But the moment of truth arrives in qualifying, and Palladino, with a round without drooping, realizes a good 58:291 adjusting E. Sessa to 381 thousandths, Francesco Del Grosso (Laudato Racing) at 497m and the new entry Daniele Sessa (Scococo Corse) 632m.
At the way of G1 Palladino takes the head, even Sessa starts well passing a masters that precedes it in the grid and the first detached attacked decisively and overcomes Palladino. For the 12 laps of race the fight is compelling and characterized by some attempts of attack of Palladino and certain defenses of the position of the leader. At the finish line the positions remain unchanged, follow Del Grosso and D. Sessa. Palladino loses the P2 in G2 grid for a penalty to the advantage of a Masters conductor.

In qualifying it is Valestra to do better by conquering even the first row in grid with 58:630. After Posillo, Max Cioffi, Bruno Rega and Gianluca Iervolino.
In race 1 Valestra does not start well while Posillo manages in two laps to overcome conductors of the DD2 and passes in the head, for some turns manages to keep the head then Valestra passes again and stays ahead until the finish line. In the central group the two classes are also fiercely confronted and sometimes problems arise mutually but this happens when, for numerical reasons, the classes are shortened. So with the situation described you go towards race 2. The grid positions give a certain advantage to Valestra which starts in the first row followed by two DD2 drivers, then Posillo and Cioffi. On the Via Valestra it starts quietly and maintains its position as a leader while Posillo is encircled in the struggle of the DD2. On the fifth lap, he manages to get rid and with a delay of 3s and 2d he hunts for the first position, the chase successfully concludes the detachment of the last curve before the chess flag.
