CASALUCE INFUOCATA PER IL Rd5 CENTRO SUD
The weather forecasts spoke clear and suggested leaving the rain equipment at home, and so it was. The temperature has never fallen under the thirty degrees and the sun has nurtured the asphalt making it glowing. But if an event takes the name "SUMMER CUP" There will be a reason. The race materials were subjected to a thermal stress not indifferent but, despite that, thanks to the work of the Teams of reference, they gave life to beautiful races. In short, it is always the binomy tracked-pilots that makes history of a motor racing and, on the Circuit Racing Kart and with the pilots RMC, you go on the safe.
For the race chronicle we start from Mini where with a very tacky and careful race Gabriele Giannatiempo (Charles Leclerc) wins both races after making the pole, in second place you place Pietro Esposito (CRG) that has always been glued to the leader of the general ranking but has never been in a position to attack it. Giannatiempo, with double success consolidates his primacy.
In Max. Kevin German (KR) and Giuseppe Luongo (Parolin) the loot is divided: in the race a German, who had already conquered the pole, while he was firmly at the command is reached by a signal of the direction of race for partial detachment of the rear bumper, vavano the attempt to run to shelter. Luongo wins race 1. In race 2 German manages to climb up and conquer the highest step of the podium. Despite the absence in Casaluce, Daniele Sessa remains in the lead in the general classification of Max Zone 2.
The DD always records a number of participants and, above all, attracts new conductors who remain fascinated by the technical peculiarities of the Rotax 2-speed drive. For the record, in Gentleman continues to win Bruno Rega (Charles Leclerc) that is facing a season full of sporting events often participating in competitions in area 1. With the double victory of last Sunday consolidates the primacy in general. The DD2 Master remains the most fought and balanced. Marco Valestra (Kubica) returns to bite, wins the pole and both tests: in race 1 Andrea Scafuro (BirelArt) that departed in the second half, because of a contact, is forced to abandon, at the finish line, second, is placed Giuseppe Posillo (BirelArt) and third Gregorio Rago (BirelArt). In race 2 things seem to be good for Posillo who closes in the head but, penalized for irregular departure, must leave the first square in Valestra that regains the top of the overall ranking on Rago third also in race 2; fourth is Scafuro and fifth a new entry Gianluca Iervolino (BirelArt).
In DD Francesco Palladino (Charles Leclerc), for the entire weekend appeared the fastest and in qualifying stops the chronometer on 51,617 marking the new record of the Circuit that already held. The rivals never managed to produce performances that could question his leadership. In both races Palladino wins with margin adjusting Michele Candela and Francesco Del Grosso (both on BirelArt) the latter at the first absolute participation in a Challenge competition.
The Rotax movement welcomes Iervolino and Del Grosso of Team Laudato Racing and Scoco Corse who with great conviction have chosen RMCI.
Now the look is directed to Siena and the Mojo Trophy where the first verdicts could already arrive in the Challenge area, but above all the first comparisons with the drivers and teams of the North Zone. Appointment, therefore, for the 24 and 25 July.
