ROTAX MAX CHALLENGE ITALIA – ZONA NORD – RD4 – CASTELLETTO

Sun and hot sultry accompanied the test number 4 of Rotax Max Challenge Italia 2021. The race, originally scheduled at the Cremona Circuit, was moved to extremis at the 7Laghi Kart. We then take the opportunity to thank those responsible for the Pavese circuit who were available to welcome the Rotax Italy Trophy 2021.

GARA CRONACA

Pole position of the Mini Rotax for the pilot of the IRT Engines Matteo Montrone, who is sided in the front row by the Lgk of Pietro Lilli. At the start of race-1 we immediately witness the first round of the day, with the leader of the championship, Lorenzo Lanzara, forced to retire for a technical problem a few turns from the start. On the other hand, Lilli takes an excellent start, which leads him to pass Montrone, who is the author of a very bad first lap, being few curves later attacked and surpassed also by Matteo Berruti (Honolulu Racing) and, subsequently, also by Karel Staut. The latter is not held, and with grit surpasses both Berruti and Lilli, going in the first position. The pace of Staut is very high, and it is not easy for the group of trackers to keep pace. Berruti attacks and passes Lilli, which slips even fifth, also surpassed by Montrone and Brando Badoni (FooDrivers). Staut wins with margin, while a great fight for the square of honor between Berruti and Montrone is lit. After two attempts gone blank, Montrone passed over to the last round Berruti and took the second podium square. Very interesting also race-2, in which we attend a formidable first round of Matteo Berruti and Diego Triggianese (FooDrivers), which recover positions taking to the summit, but then it is always Karel Staut to emerge from the wild group of the first lap, creating then the usual now far. It's bad for Badoni who can't get away. Montrone fits in second position followed by Natino (MKC), great revelation of these first

Scene hits even in the pre-gara of Rotax JuniorWhen the unfortunate Pietro Pons, one of the favourites for the podium, decides not to start because of problems at ribs. The pole position goes to the championship leader Kiko Fracassi (LKA Racing Team) in front of Elia Pappacena (MKC) and teammate Giacomo Marchioro. In race-1 another twist of scene in the reconnaissance tour: Elia Pappacena retires for a technical problem and does not start the race, leave free field to the duo Fracassi-Marchioro that will dominate the race taking immediately margin. Great fight for the third step of the podium between Martino Zorgno (54SC) and Riccardo Perinazzo (Ktre Race), which repeatedly exchange the position, until Zorgno seems to stretch slightly. In the lead of the race, Fracassi controls Marchioro: the gap between the two is always safe and never enough to allow the titan an attempt to attack for victory. He then wins Kiko Fracassi with a second margin on the team-mate, while when the games seemed to be made, here is Perinazzo’s last winning attack on Zorgno, which is worth his third position. Fourth concludes Zorgno in front of Ghazi Motlekar to close the top-5. In race-2 identical script for Fracassi, which starts well and runs away in solitude, while you can't say just as well for teammate Marchioro, who misses the start and is overtaken by an excellent Riccardo Perinazzo. The battle between the two inflames the first lap, but after two exchanges of positions the contact takes place: the attempt of attack of Marchioro at the "omega" curve ends with Perinazzo forced to retire and with divers

is the leader Luca Zamburlini (LKA Racing Team) to get the pole position, alongside Alessandro Tecchio (54SC). Shot third Michele Chizzali. When turning off the lights, Zamburlini is not particularly brilliant, so Tecchio jumps in the first position. After some empty attempts, Zamburlini manages to recover the leadership of the race and, as an accomplice also a contact between Tecchio and Chizzali, stretches easily on the group. From the contact is strongly penalized Tecchio, which slides to the center of the group, while Andrea Giudice (FooDrivers) takes advantage of the situation to fit in second position after a little brilliant qualification. First cut the finish line Luca Zamburlini, followed by Andrea Giudice and Michele Chizzali. In fourth place, Matteo Pianezzola (54SC). In race-2, we are witnessing Andrea Giudice’s start-up, which, second, immediately attacked the leader Zamburlini. The leadership of the Foodrivers driver lasts only 3 laps, as Zamburlini easily resumes the head of the race going, as in race-1, to build a good safety margin. The fight is all between Judge and Chizzali for the second position; the latter can never find the right point to approach enough the opponent to try an attack, keeping the positions unchanged. After this victory, Luca Zamburlini is increasingly leader of the North Zone ranking. DD After the first three races in the Max, he immediately signed in the time trials, followed by 2 tenths by Cristian Trolese (KTre Race). At the start, great point of the Birelart by Gregorio Bertocco, who climbs Trolese and joins in second position, while Rosina starts her solo march in the head of the race that will take him to the chess flag. Trolese resurpasses Bertocco and, almost simultaneously, also the leader of the Luca Munaretto (Munaretto Performance), climbs Felappi and starts a slow recovery on the duo in struggle for the second position. Bertocco and Munaretto begin to put pressure on Trolese, but in an attempt to overtake Munaretto on Bertocco it creates a mess and takes advantage of Felappi, who takes the P3. He then wins Rosina, in front of Trolese and Felappi. Much more linear race-2, in which Rosina starts well and escapes, chased by Trolese, while for the third position is quite easy the recovery of Munaretto that, once rid of the insidiosi Bertocco and Felappi, manages to take easily the last step of the podium reconfirming itself reclassification. In the DD2 Master still an amazing double by Lorenzo Landi (LGK Kart&Go), both in front of Alessandro Tosi. Double of Luca Pizzolato in the Gentlman.

Appointment for the North Zone in only 2 weeks at the Trentino circuit of Ala.
