A Battipaglia first seasonal test of RMCI Zone 2
Beautiful day of sun and sport on Circuit of the Sele of Battipaglia; the 16th Alboreto Trophy was a splendid setting for the Round 1 of RMCI for the Central-South Zone.
For smaller drivers than Mini Rotax we expect a beautiful battle between Giannatiempo and Procida: the first test went to Gabriele Giannatiempo on Charles Leclerc who after conquering the pole wins race 1 and race2.
Vincenzo Spina, zone winner for 2020 of the mini, wins in Junior and wins the 110 points in the inaugural day.
In Max. the duel at the summit between Daniele Sessa (Tonykart) and Kevin German (KR), the first wins pole and both races but unlike how much you can imagine the tests were very beautiful and loyally fought, characterized by different surprises that made them spectacular. Giuseppe Luongo (Parolin) enters second place in race 2 while German is forced to retire for a chain jump.
As already in the last edition DD always offers fighting and spectacular competitions: Michele Candela (BirelArt), already winner of the South and third national area in 2020, wins both races after a prolonged duel and full of scene shots with Francesco Palladino (Charles Leclerc). A tenth of a second divided the two protagonists on the final finish. Great spot for the promotion of the category. In DD2 Masters, full loot for Marco Valestra (Kubica) that also this year presents itself with the right clutch to point to the final success. To the historical opponents, Gregorio Rago and Max Cioffi, for 2021 is added Giuseppe Pozillo already on the podium in race 2. In Rago goes the square of honor in race 1 while Cioffi wins second place in race 2. In DD2 Gentleman, reserved for ultra 50 years, wins Bruno Rega on Charles Leclerc.
The award ceremony (with detachment) was enriched by the delivery of trophies related to the south-central area of the 2020 challenge, also noticed the welcome surprise of the delivery of Birra Artigianale (only to adults) of the "Friaden Beer" of the brewer Ivano Meola, to which goes the thanks of the rewards. https://www.facebook.com/friedenbeerartigia
