BATTAGLIE SENZA ESCLUSIONI DI COLPI A CASTELLETTO
The fourth race of the Rotax Max Challenge Italia of Northern area has recently been consumed at the 7 Lakes circuit of Castelletto di Branduzzo. The highly technical track allowed us to attend races played on the wire of the cents and some important changes in the trophy charts.
In Rotax Mini is the solo of Davide Bottaro (Irt Engines) in Sunday morning qualifying, who sees him mark an inadmissible time for opponents. The challenger to the Brando Badoni Championship (FooDrivers) joins him in the front row. At the start of race-1 it starts very well Bottaro and bad Badoni, with Lanzara (54SC) that takes advantage of the bad start of the latter to jump in second place. Bottaro's escape is immediately successful, while it is a struggle between Lanzara and Badoni for the second position. After several empty attempts, Badoni's overtaking goes to a good end to the second hairpin, leaving Lanzara to fight for the p3 with Matteo Berruti. Vince Bottaro, Badoni is second while Lanzara manages to hold the third position. Race-2 has an unforeseen trend. On the ready way, Badoni's departure is better than race-1, and this allows him to start immediately Bottaro, who runs away anyway in the head. Badoni, however, seems determined to make life difficult to his opponent, and surpasses him on the third lap. Bottaro immediately tries to retrace in the head, but Badoni is highly determined not to give up the head of the race. The race goes on with the tandem of head that stretches on the couple Lanzara-Berruti, which in turn fight for the podium. It seems to have more of Bottaro, but it does not manage at all to defeat Badoni's determination to remain clinging to the first square, but on the penultimate lap a decisive attack on the left ramp goes to good end and allows him to take home the last victory, even if this time much sweatier. Third place has the best Berruti.
Also beautiful the race Rotax Junior Pietro Pons (Honolulu Racing), who for only 4 cents wins the pole position on an ensuing Kiko Fracassi (LKA Dannic). In difficulty the leader of the championship Leonardo Baccaglini, who finds no feeling with the pavese track and takes only in the fourth row. Andrea Giudice (Foo Drivers), a direct rival of Baccaglini at the title and immediately tries to take advantage of the situation and, a few turns later, in the head. Probelmi to the start instead for Fracassi, which, from the first row, slips at the bottom of the group. The head duo Giudice-Pons extends to the group of pursuers, led by Marotto (Lka Dannic) who is pursued closely by Andrea Perduca and Martino Zorgno (54SC). Precisely Marotto will have the worst in the tightened struggle between these three, having different positions. The pair of heads seems ready to turn on the mice for a final duel, but in the last laps Andrea Giudice manages to pull out those tenths more to space Pons. Second seasonal victory for him, with Pons great second and Perduca who finally is third. Excellent race also of Fracassi that after the difficulties to the way recovers up to the p5. In race-2 it is always Judge to parade well, but also Perduca is the author of an excellent start, which catapults him in second place. Pons, however, is determined to immediately recover the position behind Judge, but the bagarre with Perduca allows the FooDrivers driver to take precious meters of advantage. is Michaele Rosina (54Sc), determined to redeem itself from the opaque proof of Siena. His is the track record in 47.8, detaching 4 tenth Cristian Trolese (kTre), defending champion. At the start of race-1 the positions remain unchanged, but Luca Munaretto (54SC) is detrmined to attack Trolese for the second position, attack that goes in port, after some attempts, to the first detached. The positions of vertica go away, with few battles in the very first positions. A little further back we find Marta Bussola (BS Racing) that brings a good attack on Gregorio Bertocco, for the sixth square. Notable to Marta's performance, considering also the way from the back for technical trouble in qualifying. Vince Rosina on Munaretto and Trolese. Rosina is the undisputed dominator of race-2. This time it is Trolese to be detached of 4", in front of Luca Munaretto. Fourth is Nicola Felappi (Honolu Racing). Alessandro Tosi (GP Racing) and Fabio Cretti (Honolulu) are in the DD2 Master. A victory at the head, with Tosi imposing in race-1, Cretti in race-2. In the center of Emilio Furlan in the Gentlman. With this victory, the North area title is in the hands of Michaele Rosina.
