Today was a busy day for Team Italia riders, who played the Prefinals of the 2018 Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals.
Unlike the model so far seen, the Prefinals will have the same value as the Manche, therefore with them they will contribute to the formation of the starting grid for the Finals.
Mini – Pons immediately promoted
Despite being his first Grand Finals, Pietro Pons is becoming the protagonist of an extremely positive weekend. The young man, in fact, was far from the "guai", finishing 13th the Prefinal, thus putting in the view the top10 absolute in view of the Final.
Junior: Galvanin and Bernardi, who remounts!
Both Junior riders have excited thanks to two wonderful remonte that brought him Elia Galvanin in 8th square in Prefinal A and Marco Bernardi in 23rd in the B with 11 positions recovered.
Seniors – Marchesan and Lakes do not give themselves to losers
Thanks to 8 surprises, Damiano Marchesan, finished in 17th square the Prefinal A, while the compatriot Filippo Laghi from the 30th square of the start closed 24°.
DD2 – Pagliarani and Trolese protagonists
Our two colour holders Claudio Pagliarani and Cristian Trolese were among the protagonists of the Prefinal A, finishing 4th and 7th respectively.
DD2 Master – Cretti, what a surprise
Fabio Cretti, who finished the Prefinal A in 7th place, further putting points on the "i" of a very positive competition.
