In the fifth round of the Centro-Sud Zone, in the Vesuvius Cup at the Naples International Circuit in Sarno, in Junior he won Parolin, in the Mini Vittozzi, in the Max Marchesan, in the DD2 Pagliarani.
On the International Circuit Naples of Sarno took place the 13th. The Vesuvius Cup has seen with a good success the fifth round of the Rotax Max Challenge 2018 Centro-Sud Trophy, for the regions Lazio, Abruzzo, Molise and Campania.
To win ROTAX JUNIOR It was Simone Parolin (Exprit) who preceded Elia Galvanin (Exprit), winner of the Prefinal, with Vincenzo Scarpetta (Parolin) in third place, while Kevin German (Exprit) placed in fourth place. In the smallest of categories, the MINI ROTAX, Emmanuel Vittozzi (BirelArt) ranked first.
In ROTAX MAX, after the best time made in the test by Filippo Laghi (Tony Kart) and the victory in the Prefinal by Mattia Sergio Limena (Kosmic), the success in the Final obtained it Damiano Marchesan (Sodi) who managed to take command of the three-round race after recovering from the third position. Behind Marchesan they ended on the podium Filippo Laghi and Mattia Sergio Limena. The other positions followed went to Luigi Postiglione, Jacopo De Lorenzo, Domenico Beneventi, Domenico Telesca and Mario Festa respectively.
In ROTAX DD2 Claudio Pagliarani (Sodi) has undergone the leadership of Armando Iannaccone (CRG) only on the occasion of the time trials, then in the race Pagliarani took over by winning both the Prefinal and the Final. In the final race Pagliarani has always led in front of the finish line Iannaccone and Matteo Del Vecchio who finished in third place from the fifth position of departure. The other drivers classified in full turns were in the order Tiziano Emanuele Arena, Pasquale Amatruda, Edoardo Di Stefano, Marco Valestra and Gregorio Rago, while Francesco Palladino, third in Prefinal, was forced to retire.
Next round of the Rotax Italy Trophy in the second round of the Italian ACI Karting Championship scheduled in Muro Leccese from 24 to 27 May.
