The one just concluded at the Franciacorta Karting Track proved to be a weekend that has a much greater meaning than a "simple" Northern Rotax Max Challenge Italy test: in fact, many foreign drivers have come to test the Brescia circuit in view of the imminent test of the Rotax Euro Trophy, thus leading the race to a very high level with over 100 participants.
In Mini Rotax, poleman was British Ari Kallenberg (Strawberry Racing), ahead of Giovanni Pistore (Drake Motorsport) and Marc Andria Quessada (MKC). In the second row the dominator of the season, until here, David Davoli (FooDrivers). In race-1 the protagonist is Giovanni Pistore, who after passing Quessada – who started very well in the early stages – jumps to the pursuit of Kallenberg, to pass it to three turns from the term definitively. For the third position, to report the great remonta of Davoli: the leader of the championship, after a bad start, surpasses in the final laps Quessada to go to get the podium. In race-2 Davoli has the best start, but already after a few turns, Pistore takes the lead again and, taking advantage of the tight fight behind him, builds a small margin. To make sparks is "Turbo Kevin", which fits into the top fight until being forced to retire to the penultimate lap. Once Turbo Kevin is released, Davoli tries in vain to reach Pistore, but the Drake driver confirms the perfect relationship with the Franciacorta track and takes two wins. Third, for Strawberry Racing, Awa Lawrence.
Are the foreign drivers Ryan Ghandour (KR Sport) and Esaon Tseng (Strawberry Racing) to mark the first row of the Rotax JuniorPaolo De Grandi (IRT Engines), a great third in front of Leo Gonzalez (MKC). Lorenzo Giaquinto, leader of the classification, starts from the P9. Race-1 is dominated long and wide by Ghandour, which immediately takes the wide. Behind him, De Grandi struggles hard with Tseng, having to settle for the P3, but that in league optics means first of the Italian drivers. The long MKC Motorsport duel for the fourth place is resolved in favor of Matteo Natino, who precedes the team mate Giquinto (respectively P2 and P3 italia) and Leo Gonzalez. In race-2 the fight for victory is clearly more fierce, with Ghandour, De Grandi and Tseng fighting without exclusion of blows. After remaining in the lead for some jokes, De Grandi closes third place a race of the highest level, won at the finish line from Tseng on Ghandour. With Tseng penalized by 5", Ghandour triumphs, ahead of De Grandi. They close the top-5 Boaz Maximov and Lorenzo Giaquinto, second Italian at the finish line. The third place "italia" is for Naim Bretag (Infinity), seventh at the finish line.
Even the Rotax Max It is based on the fury of overseas drivers, particularly Thomas Bearman (KR Sport), who gets the absolute pole ahead of Armand Hamilton (Strawberry) and Danny Shields (KR sport). The leader of the northern championship, Elia Pappacena, is fourth overall, after obtaining the P2 of group B, while Pietro Pons (LKA) is seventh overall. After the heats, won by Bearman )2 victories, and Hamilton (a P1 and a P2), we find Pappacena to get more 55 points as the first Italian driver, which allow him to celebrate the North Zone title with 1 event in advance. The second driver Italy, Pons, is sixth total, while the podium of race-1 "italia" is completed by Kiko Fracassi (Infinity). In race2 the Bearman ride is again triumphant, while Hamilton is forced to a runway exit in the first lines that force him to give up positions. Pappacena also underwent the very tight fight of the first laps, being behind also Sebastian Kokh and Pons, but it is able to immediately rediscover his race to settle in third absolute position. Nothing to say about the performance of Bearman, who wins solo on Tino Sidler and Elia Pappacena, while for the Italian podium Pietro Pons holds second place on Alessandro Tecchio, fast in the last stages of the race.
Leonardo Baccaglini (Drake) wins the pole position of DD, with less than a tenth advantage over Mauro Simoni (Ktre) and Nicola Felappi, while closing the second row is Michael Rosina (54SC). In race-1 Baccaglini starts immediately well dragging behind Felappi, while losing some Simoni positions. The Ktre driver, however, seems on the day, and after a few laps it passes both Felappi and Eigl, leading to the pursuit of a Baccaglini but has already a sufficient margin to preserve the victory. Third concludes Felappi after being right of Eigl and Rosina. In race-2, Simoni manages to have a good start, which allows him, this time, to stay close to Baccaaglini from the first round. The overtaking takes place on the tenth lap, after which, SImoni shows a slightly faster step, coming to detach Baccaglini of a few tenths, thus cutting the finish line as winner for the first time in season. For the third place, Michael Rosina prevails on Daniel Giliberti (Infinity) after a long duel, while unfortunately did not take the via Felappi, arrived third in race-1. With regard to the Master, Federico Rossi (54SC) wins in race-1, but in race-2 there is a sort of "stage blow": Gabriele Nardi (Drake Motorsport) manages to stop the hegemony of Rossi, taking the win with good margin. In both races, the third place is occupied by Alessandro Tosi.
