The sixth round of the RMCI area south is also done. On the Circuit Morcone, included in the Trophy organized by Karting Club City of Morcone, the eleventh and twelfth race was played for Zone 2. The general conditions of the weather and the track allowed some nice and regular competitions then, evidently, the rest must do the pilots.
Unfortunately, we must record that in the categories where the result was mathematically or virtually already defined there were no attendances to make necessary and interesting a detailed chronicle for which we limit ourselves to confirm that in Senior Max Edoardo Picardi (Laudato Racing) he found himself struggling with drivers of other categories selling really dear skin and demonstrating an important sport growth. Its result goes to consolidate the P2 in general whose leadership was already mathematically in the hands of Vincenzo Spina (GC racing 85).
Frozen positions in DD2 Masters for the total absence of drivers who are competing, but, at a race from the end, the summit, occupied by Marco Valestra, it seems not to be questioned, virtually the general of category is his, followed by Max Cioffi both Laudato Racing.
In DD We said of a virtual ranking that smiled at the Irpino pilot Francesco Palladino that by placing on the chart the result that allows it to discard a DQ taken in Round 1 wins the P1 in general followed by the excellent Kevin German who did not save himself to make life difficult to the most experienced in friend/reval category.
But the weekend wasn't all that free of news, we could say: "never bad there is the Mini." But before entering the news we would like to say that the Rotax movement altogether, the promoter of the Challenge "Kart Shop Italia" and the authorized services rotax "Laudato Racing" and "GCRacing85" are particularly pleased with the growth that the mini category has had, and continues to have, during the year. We recorded 11 drivers who participated in at least one test, with the presence of a pilot from the UK in the inaugural race, five Under10 drivers, a sign of great attention from new entries in the world of Karting. Finally, we also show an increasing interest by Team historically dedicated to other categories. All this will be realized with new additions already confirmed for the final race of the zone Challenge scheduled on the Kartodromo Racing Kart of Casaluce. We'll keep you informed.
But let's come to the news: with a general ranking still open it was lawful to expect battle and show and so it was, of course not missed the twists of scene.
In the six minutes of qualifying part well Nicola Murano that marks a 33:688 in the lap2 that seems to shelter it from surprises, but it is not so. In the turn of a few turns is found in P4 exceeded first Bruno D’Alelio (GCRacing85) 33:562 from Lorenzo Bruno (Laudato Racing) 33:561, then from Gabriele Giannatiempo 33:535. But the final leg is by Lorenzo Bruno who agrees with the time of 33:399 that gives him pole. Four drivers in less than 2 tenths, sign of great balance. On the grid follow the four Under 10 pilots in the order:Raul Capuozzo, Domenico Mazza (team Di Poto) to which we welcome in the world Rotax, Leucio Fantasia and Riccardo Marano aftergoing 2 positions by decision of the CC.SS.
In race 1 part well the whole row inside and on the first lap transits in the head Lorenzo Bruno followed by Bruno D’Alelio and Raul Capuozzo, then passes Giannatiempo, Marano and Murano that loses some position. The first two positions will not change until the end, D’Alelio will remain in Bruno’s boots for half the race but then, thanks to a better race step, Lorenzo Bruno will take margin and win with 1" and 2 tenths of advantage. Behind it is open fight for the third position, Capuozzo defends itself well for 7 turns but then it must yield 2 positions to the advantage respectively of Giannatiemo and Murano.
The result of race 1 shows the hopes of those who still want to conquer the title of zone, the false half-step of the General's Leader, Murano, contributes to these hopes. With these assumptions, race 2 can be worth a season.
In the beginning, indeed before, already a first shot of scene, during the second formation lap, decreed for unsuccessful departure, the group goes fast for a stretch of track and then suddenly slow down, maybe Mazza does not realize that it is not yet in race and swab rather violent Capuozzo that preceded it on the grid. For both, the withdrawal for damage to the Karts is inevitable. Too bad for both of us. So it goes for the start that, for a uncertainty of Lorenzo Bruno and Bruno D’Alelio, sees leave the first two positions to Giannatiempo and Murano. For four laps the train travels fast with practically zero gaps until Murano breaks the garments and attacks Giannatiempo by passing it. Lorenzo Bruno is also approaching menacingly, it seems to wait for the right time to try, instead he comes out on the lawn out of the central hairpin, during the fifth round. From this moment on, nothing agonistically relevant happens while, from a sports point of view, Nicola Murano wins well deservedly race and Challenge Zone. On the podium with him of round 6 go Giannatiempo and D’Alelio, while Riccardo Marano wins his third Under 10 race followed by Fantasia.
