After a Friday characterized by violent storms, on Saturday the weather granted a truce, thus offering us the possibility to attend races in constant conditions of dry track.
Passing to the news of the races, the Mini Rotax had in the outsider David Moscardi the undisputed dominator of the weekend, which gets the pole and victories in both races, preceding in both races the contenders for the title Paolo De Grandi and Nik Brecleij: if in race-1 the victory arrived in looseness, in race-2 Brecleij became insidious from Moscow. The North Zone Champion 2023 is therefore Paolo DeGrandi (Krono Racing), who with a P2 and a P3 stage, manages to manage the advantage of the rival Brecleij.
He fought and different from the usual Rotax Junior, who saw Diego Triggianese (FooDrivers) get the first pole position career and with the first 6 drivers enclosed in less than 2 tenths of a second. Race-1 sees however an ensuing Matteo Natino (MKC) take command of the situation, with Triggianese who, however, is able to recover the position of leader in the fourth round. The fight in the head group is very intense with the coupling of Kiko Fracassi (infinity), Jure Levar (KSB Racing) and Lorenzo Giaquinto (MKC). On the eighth lap to make the expenses of the very tight bagarre is Triggianese, which loses 6 positions, while Natino takes the lead taking advantage of the scaramucce between Fracassi and Levar to stretch. He then won Natino on Kiko Fracassi and Jure Levar. In race-2 Kiko Fracassi immediately took the reins of the race, after the glistening start of Levar, which however is forced to retire for losing side protection of the kart on the second lap. Fracassi, leader of the race, is however insidiated by a Lorenzo Giaquinto particularly in the ball. On lap 11 the overtaking takes place, with Giaquinto leading the race, but, shortly after, he is clamorously forced to retire for mechanical problems. First cut the Fracassi finish line, in front of Matteo Montrone set back from P7 and Brando Badoni. However, the stage hits do not end, as in the post-race, Fracassi is penalized by 5" for the muse out of position, and the victory goes to Matteo Montrone (first career in junior). Kiko fracassi, however, is easily sampled North Co
The Rotax Max race, with Elia Pappacena and Riccardo Perinazzo, was a successful 38 driver. Elia Pappacena (MKC) is the title of the elimination heats, which as we remember as awarding equal points to race-1, and is the winner of the race, followed by Andrea Perduca (LKA Racing Team) and Riccardo Perinazzo (Ktre Race). The top-5 is completed by Giacomo Marchioro (Infinity Racing) and Marco Bernardi (Krono Racing team). The final, played in the light of the spotlight, takes place with Pappacena preceding Perinazzo and Perduca. The latter, however, does not want to waste time, and immediately surpasses Perinazzo during the first round. The pair Pappacena-Perduca seems to have a step far higher than the competition, so that the advantage after a few turns is already greater than 5". Behind them Matteo Pianezzola (Inifinity) manages to have the best in the thick group of the pursuers, laying in P3. In the middle of the race, Perduca surpasses Pappacena at the bottom of the straight. The Italian- Helvetic driver will remain a few laps behind Perduca, and then pass it back decisively to the chicane at 4 laps from the term, going to win for the umpteenth time in season. For the third place Pianezzola has the best on Marchioro, which slips back in the ranking also following a penalty of 5" cause unconformed position of the muse. The 2023 season in the North was dominated by Pappacena, who with the success of Lonato, won the title.
3 contenders for a title, with this premise began the race of the Rotax Dd2, with Gregorio Bertocco, Michaele Rosina and Leonardo Baccaglini all and 3 in lax for the crown of North Zone Champion 2023. In qualifying, the driver of the Drake Motorsport team, who sees Rosina taking his side. At the start, Baccaglini immediately tries to stretch taking advantage of the battle Bertocco – Rosina for the second position, which is resolved in favor of the latter. Baccaglini wins and completely reopens the games, with Rosina and Bertocco in P2 and P3. But the stage hits come in race-2. Bertocco starts very well and starts immediately Baccaglini, until, at the second of the "pettine" the two come in contact. For Bertocco it is withdrawn from the race, while for Baccaglini the race continues, but in the tail to the group. This is the occasion for Rosina, which starts to a probable victory of race and title, but, incredibly, at 2 turns from the end a mechanical problem forces him to surrender, leaving the victory to a coriacean Cristian Trolese (Ktre Race). In Baccaglini it is sufficient then to get the P7 to bring home a title of the North area as much fought as uncertain until the last. In the DD2 Masters victory, for Federico Rossi (54SC) who also wins the title of zone.
