The National Final 2022 ended in a warm Sunday of October, which awarded national titles and qualifying "tickets" to the XIII Rotax Max Challenge Grand Final.

In the ROTAX MINI the absolute protagonist was Nik Berceij. The Slovenian driver got the pole position and won all three heats in the program. But the eyes were placed on the men of Badoni, Natino and DeGrandi. With Matteo Natino taking a Sunday no, the duel was restricted to Brando Badoni and Paolo DeGrandi. Badoni won the duel, in looseness, in race-1, but an unhappi start he relegated to race-2 only in fifth place, and therefore forced to a rebound. Brando Badoni (IRT Engines) then won the Rotax Italia 2022 title and qualified for the Rotax Grand Final, while, with the victory in race-3, the National Final 2022 won by Nik Berceij.
The finals of the ROTAX JUNIOR are animated by the endless duel between Elia Pappacena and Kiko Fracassi. The first, after obtaining the pole position, manages to win race-1 with a spectacular overtaking at the last lap, while Fracassi answers with a victory of extreme authority in race-2. All postponed, then, in race-3, where Fracassi seems to lead smoothly until the eternal magic of Pappacena, which puts it with a deep detachment at the beginning of the penultimate lap. The duel between the two benefits Leon Zelenko, who sits in second position. The victory of the championship then goes to Elia Pappacena (Mkc Motorsport), in front of Kiko Fracassi (Infinity) and Matteo Berruti (LKA Racing Team), who finishes third after getting a third place in the zone championship and a third and a fifth place in that of Jesolo. Qualified for the Rotax Grand Final Kiko Fracassi and Matteo Berruti.
Expected was the ROTAX MAX, where many drivers were running for the top ranking positions. The pole position is marked by Pietro Pons (LKA Racing Team), flanked by Andrea Perduca. Race-1 is however marked by Leonardo Principalli's furious comeback (Mkc Motorsport), which took off in sixth row, manages to reassemble to the fourth square, behind Pons, which wins in looseness, in front of Chizzali (also the man of classification) and Marco Bernardi (Krono). In race-2 the leadership of Pons is affected by the Mainli-Marchioro duo, which will end first and second in front of the Turin driver, while the race to the title of Chizzali stops at the turn3 when a contact with Bernardi relegates him to the group center. In the third and decisive race the championship speech was far from closed, with Principalli called to defend 6 points of advantage on Pons and 8 on Marchioro. Pons is the author of an impeccable race, which takes him to the command from the third round to the chess flag, with the trio Bernardi-Principalli-Marchioro to play the remaining positions of the podium. Principals and Marchioro pass Bernardi, who slips fourth, and there will finish his race. Main try, with its typical final rush, to approach Pons, but the second square is enough to win the championship for just 2 points. Pietro Pons closes the Rotax Italia championship second absolute and in virtue of being the first Italian driver, will represent Italy to the Rotax Grand Final. Solo by Claudio Pagliarani (54SC) in the Rotax DD2 Masters. The Romagna driver dominates in looseness all three heats, and wins another tricolor title. In the second place he concludes Jody Lambrughi (MKC), author of two second places in that of Jesolo, in front of Marco Valestra and Giuseppe Posillo, who close at equal points in p3. For Pagliarani it is the ninth participation in the Rotax Grand Final, certainly one of the longest drivers of the entire Rotax panorama.
DD2 from the outcome far from obvious and teaches us that everything can happen in races, in good and in evil. Dominator of the North Championship, qualifying and almost all race-1, Leonardo Baccaglini (Ktre Race) is the author of an unlucky track release as the race-1 victory was already in hand. Gregorio Bertocco takes advantage of it by going to win race-1 and race-3, while the misadventures of Baccaglini do not end as he is author of various contacts in the attempts to reassemble that will leave him in the center of the group. Francesco Palladino (Laudato Racing). The Campanian driver, dominator of the south zone, manages to impose himself in race-2 exploiting also the penalty of 5′′ inflicted on Bertocco, and with the success of the area he wins, together with Bertocco (absolute winner of the championship) the qualification to the Rotax Grand Final. It was remarkable date, unlike the main opponents, the little familiarity with the veneto track.
