The round #2 of the Rotax Max Challenge North area, just finished at the brand new Franciacorta circuit, gave emotions to not finish and races widely fought in full Rotax style. Throughout the weekend, the pilots made the counts with the whims of the weather, that only on Sunday day has guaranteed a time almost "stable", with only the Rotax DD2 conditioned by a scrow of rain in full spring style, that put an end to the race with 2 back in advance.

The Rotax Mini, that we remember from this year introduces the mechanism of the motor draw, has seen the very positive debut in the category of Matteo Montrone (IRT Engines), that takes the pole position with 2 tenths of advantage on the leader of the championship Karel Staut. The latter, however, will be relegated to the bottom of the group for not having respected the minimum weight to the temine of the qualifyings, and so is the Haase of Matteo Berruti (Honolu Racing) to close the first row. In race-1 to party is Diego Triggianese (FooDrivers), which hits an all too impeccable start and takes you directly to second position. It burns instead the departure of Berruti that loses positions. Matteo Montrone, strong of his privileged position in the head of the group, immediately tries to escape, while it is very tight fight in the group of chasers, with Staut trying to recover positions. Lorenzo Lanzara goes to Triggianese attack, but makes a mistake that takes him back some positions, bringing the Staut Crg to the third place. A few turns from the end, Montrone has a considerable advantage, while Triggianese, in an attempt to defend itself against the continuous attacks of Staut, comes out badly from curve 3 and is surprised by the Swiss driver, who will get the p2, behind the winner, Montrone. Triggianese completes the podium but his departure did not escape the judges, who assigned him 3" penalty for jump start, thus giving the podium to Matteo Berruti. Race-2 sees the excellent point of Matteo Berruti, who immediately passes in second position, behind Matteo Montrone who retains the leadership
It is 18 drivers who have animated a competitive Rotax Junior, in which, at the end of qualifying, is the 2020 champion Kiko Fracassi (LKA Racing) to get the pole position, with a great Nik Trobec to flank it in the front row. In the second row a surprising Gennaro Belfiore (FooDrivers) with next to if the fast Elia Pappacena. At the turn off of the traffic lights of race-1 is Nik Trobec to seize by surprise Fracassi. Also excellent the departure of Pietro Pons (Honolu Racing) that recovers positions going to insidiate the head crane. At the end of the second round, Kiko Fracassi resumes the first position, successfully passing Trobec. The Slovenian driver, fast on the dry lap, seems to have still some difficulty on the race pace, and will be successfully attacked both by Elia Pappacena (MKC) and by Pietro Pons. The bagarre allows Fracassi to take a second margin, while Pappacena, taken second, begins a slow recovery towards the first position. In recovery also the Sanmarinese Giacomo Marchioro (LKA): once placed Trobec, begins a slow recovery towards the third position of the podium, occupied by Pons; the recovery of Marchioro is realized with the winning overtaking at the last corner of the last lap, while in the head Fracassi manages to keep to bada Pappacena taking the victory. To be noted the difficult race of Ghazi Motlekar, leader of the championship that, starting from the bottom, fails to go beyond the twelfth position, also because of 5" penalty for incorrect position of the muse. In third position the strong Belgian driver, now naturalized Italian-Slovenian Xen De Ruwe (SSC). It will be De Ruwe to get the best start: at the start immediately second, then at the third detachment it also surpasses Felappi taking to the head. Munaretto tries to follow him, bringing himself in p2 and thus begins a sequence of attacks and attacks for the first position, that Xen De Ruwe always manages to defend with experience and stubbornness, while Munaretto's attacks never go to good end and bring Gregorio Bertocco in second position, also thanks to a "long" of Felappi that makes him back in sixth square. The race is then interrupted with two laps in advance due to a sudden shower. The victory is therefore firmly in the hands of Bertocco, with Nicola Tosic surprise in p2 while the penalty musetto inflicted on Marchetto brings Marta Bussola to complete the podium.
