The second round of the Rotax Max Challenge Italia, valid for the northern part of the trophy, has just been consumed. The historical Pista Azzurra has given rise to "tirate" and uncertain races, all seasoned by a rocky asphalt, warmed by the temperatures that touched the 36C, thus putting riders and teams hard to test in looking for the best sects in almost extreme weather conditions.
THE CRONA
Among the 6 protagonists of the Rotax Mini, is Davide Bottaro (Irt) to score the pole position, with the record time of 50.9. Following is the Slovak Nik Trobec, who joins him in the front row. On the penultimate lap, the fight between Bottaro and Trobec is lit, with the latter that strikes the decisive attack in the hairpin and goes to take the victory. Berruti has the best on Badoni for the P3, while slightly more detached close Lanzara and Santese (54SC). After the Jesolo race, Davide Bottaro took the lead in the standings, passing Badoni.
The Rotax Junior once again it turns out the most combative and compelling category of the trophy, with 16 drivers ready to fight on the jesolana track. To take the pole position is still Leonardo Baccaglini (54SC), in addition to the international record, unique in the world under 48". Alongside Alberto Kiko Fracassi (LKA Dannic), at the first race in Junior after a long time at the top of the Mini Rotax. At the start of race-1 is far too good the departure of Fracassi, which cannot escape the eye of the stewards, which will then inflict a penalty for jump start. Baccaglini throws himself to the chase along with Andrea Giudice (FooDrivers), while the fight from the fourth place down, with a group composed of Pons, Zonrgno, Perinazzo, Marotto and Perduca. A lightning start in race-2 for Pietro Pons (Honolulu Racing) immediately casts it into the head, but the party for him lasts only a few curves, as Andrea Giudice and Kiko Fracassi will be overtaking it shortly after. The DD enters the stage with the pole position record of Michael Rosina (54SC) in 46,081, flanked, almost two tenths, by Cristian Trolese (Ktre). In race-1 it is immediately a great start for Rosina, who immediately tries to join. Trolese tries to chase him and finds himself in the 54Sc pilots' sandwich, as Munaretto insidizes him closely. The race proceeds smoothly with Rosina winning, in front of Trolese and Munaretto. Race-2 immediately sees the bad start of Trolese, which remains slightly delayed in the street leaving Munaretto to chase Rosina. Less easy to escape Rosina this time, but the task becomes easier when Munaretto is forced to retire for technical trouble. It is Trolese to climb therefore second, with Nicola Felappi (Honolu Racing) third and Alessandro Fardin fourth. The fight between Gregorio Bertocco and Marta Bussola leads Intrepid to close the top five, also thanks to the penalty of 5" inflicted on Bertocco. As for the DD2 Master is the domain of Emilio Pecci (54SC) that sets a doublet, always pursued by the defending champion Fabio Cretti (Honolulu).
