On the occasion of the Rotax World Final in Sarno, Rotax presented the most important news for the year 2020:
Mini Max – new configuration
New exhaust manifold (1) and suction limiter for carburetor (5), same radiator as Micro (7), new E-box (6)
– better response of the accelerator
– Easy adjustment of the carburetor
– Improved power curve
– New drain pipe 22mm Mini
– Special discharge pipe Mini
– Special Muffler insulation Mini
– Dedicated unit 666 818 Mini

– Reduced total engine weight
DD2 – New bumper
Since 2020, only CIK-approved chassis will be admitted to CIK/FIA competitions published internationally (until now: Rotax Euro Trophy, Rotax Grand Final).
The following configurations are allowed:
1) Frame with original Rotax bumper and Rotax homologation (with round tubes):
– homologous for national competitions
– International competitions are not allowed
2) Frame with CIK/FIA homologation with bumperCIK/FIA
– homologated for all races (national and international)
Pneumatics – all Mojo tyres approved CIK
From the 2020 season, all tires will be homologated with CIK/FIA, the structure and mix will remain identical for all tires (except W5 and CW).

Technical improvements: DD2 start gear
To increase the duration of starter gear (1) and balancer (2), both components were reinforced.
It is recommended to replace the gearing of the starter ring (434844) and the balancer (635749) on all DD2 engines.
Until 30 April 2020 there will be a special price for the upgrade kit (2 parts), price € 117,00.
From 1 May 2020 the price will be € 234,00
Oil XPS Synmax DYE
The previous XPS Synmax oil will be replaced by the new XPS Synmax DYE "Fluorescent", which allows easier control of mixing oil during the races.
Max clutch bell
The robustness and therefore the duration of the clutch bell has been improved. (659939)
Pacco lamellara
The supplier of the lamellar package (224380) has been changed.
