THE FINAL NATIONAL ROTAX OF VAL VIBRATED COMPLETE VINCITORIES FOR THE "ROTAX GRAND FINALS" OF BRAZIL

With the victories in the rankings of the National Final in Val Vibrata, the representatives of Italy at the "Rotax Grand Finals" are Pons in the Mini, Bernardi in Junior, Lakes in Max, Trolese in DD2, Cretti in the DD2 Master. From the Rotax Super Cup qualified also Galvanin in Junior, Marchesan in Max, Pagliarani in the DD2.

The National Final that took place on the Kartodromo Val Vibrata of Sant’Egidio alla Vibrata (Teramo) had the task to decree the winners of the Rotax Max Challenge Italia and the right to represent Italy in the great international event of the Grand Finals 2018, scheduled this year in Brazil from 24 November to 1 December in Conde-Paraiba.

To win the "ticket" for Brazil in the test of Val Vibrata have been Pietro Pons (Maranello) in Rotax Mini, Marco Bernardi (Tony Kart) in Rotax Junior, Filippo Laghi (Tony Kart) in Rotax Max, Cristian Trolese (Tony Kart) in Rotax DD2, Fabio Costanzo Cretti (OK1) in the Rotax DD2 Over.

Qualified drivers at the Grand Finals 2018 in Brazil through Rotax Super Cup, played in the two tests of May 20 in Sarno and September 2 in Jesolo, had been in Rotax Junior Elia Galvanin (Exprit) in Rotax Max Damiano Marchesan (Sodikart) in Rotax DD2 Claudio Pagliarani (Sodikart) in Rotax DD2 Over Alessandro Tosi (GP Racing). The winners of the Rotax Mini Super Cup, Giuseppe Fiorenzi (Energy), and the Rotax DD2 Gentleman, Massimo Corsini (Prague), they won the 2018 title but as a regulation not the "ticket" for Brazil.

The test of the Val Vibrata National Final took place on three finals. The final score is obtained from the sum of the best three results on the score obtained in the three finals and the score acquired in the selection tests of Zone.

ROTAX MINI. In Val Vibrata, in the Rotax Mini it was Pietro Valdo Pons to dominate the scene, winning all three finals after having made the second best test time behind Giuseppe Fiorenzi. In the three finals, Fiorenzi was the most antagonist, with the second place in Finale-1 at just 72 thousandths from Pons, and then again with the second place in the other two finals. The third place went to Riccardo Porinazzo in Final-1, Davide Bottaro in Finale-2 and Alberto Kiko Fracassi in Fianle-3.

Rotax Mini final classification: 1. Pons (Maranello) points 165 and qualified for the Grand Finals; 2. 159; 3. Perinazzo (Tony Kart) 149; 4. Bottaro (Maranello) 148; 5. Fracassi (Praga) 147.

ROTAX JUNIOR. In the Rotax Junior after Marco Bernardi's pole position, in the first final was Nicola Falappi to win the race, in front of Bernardi and Nicola Guerra, while in the second final it was Elia Galvanin to impose on Emma Segattini and Andrea Giudice. In the third final it was still Bernardi to win, before Galvanin and Felappi.

In the final ranking the highest score was obtained by Elia Galvanin with 162 points against the 159 of Bernardi, but the "ticket" for Brazil went to Bernardi since Galvavin had already earned it from the Super Cup.

Rotax Junior final classification: 1. Galvanin (Exprit) points 162; 2. Bernardi (Tony Kart) 159 and qualified for the Grand Finals; 3. Felt (OK1) 154; 4. Shoes (Tony Kart) 151; 5. Judge 148.

 

ROTAX MAX. A nice duel also featured the Rotax Max, among Filippo Laghi, author of Val Vibrata of the pole position realized in test and the victory in the first of the three finals, and from Mattia Sergio Limena, second in the first final but then winner of the other two races always ahead of Lakes. The duel between the two main protagonists of Val Vibrata also continued in the general ranking of the National Trophy for the assignment of the "ticket" for Brazil, with the first position for both equal merit with 162 points but with the discriminant (the best score reported to the discard) in favor of Laghi that in the end was the absolute winner. In the three finals the third place earned Marta Bussola in Finale-1, Giacomo Parisotto in Finale-2, Giordano Trinco in Finale-3.

Rotax Max final classification: 1. Lakes (Tony Kart) points 162 and qualified for the Grand Finals; 2. Limena (Kosmic) 162; 3. Compass (Intrepid) 148; 4. Trinco (Kosmic) 148; 5. Gauci 148.

ROTAX DD2. In DD2 Cristian Trolese he immediately conquered the pole position in test and then the victory in the first two finals, in both races ahead of Edoardo Di Stefano. In the third final it was By Stefano to impose on Trolese. In the third position in the first final was finished Pasquale Amatruda, in the second final Tiziano Arena, in the third final Matteo Del Vecchio. The "ticket" for Brazil earned it Trolese. In the DD2 Gentleman of Val Vibrata the victories went to Emilio Pecci in the first final, and to Massimo Corsini in the other two finals.

Rotax DD2 final classification: 1. Trolese (Tony Kart) points 162 and qualified for the Grand Finals; 2. Di Stefano (Birel) 159; 3. Palladino (Birel) 150; 4. Iannaccone 150; 5. Del Vecchio (Birel) 149.

ROTAX DD2 OVER. Particularly fought the Rotax DD2 Over. Francesco Costa conquered pole position in test with a margin of only 33 thousandths of second on Marco Valestra, but it was the latter to impose himself in the first final on Fabio Costanzo Cretti and Costa. In the second final the victory obtained it Lorenzo Landi on Alessandro Tosi and Gregorio Rago, while Costa was able to make his third final on Landi and Crotti. The "ticket" for Brazil earned it with its three locations Fabio Costanzo Cretti

Rotax DD2 Over Final Ranking: 1. Cretti (OK1) points 157 and qualified for the Grand Finals; 2. Landi (Sodikart) 155; 3. Costa (Sodikart) 155; 4. Tosis (GP) 153; 5. Rago 153.
